I have been on Amitiza for about a year, but it hasn't helped with my severe pelvic floor dysfunction. My gastrointestinal doctor recommended pelvic therapy, which also didn't work, and now they say there's nothing more they can do. I've tried stool softeners, senna, and various lifestyle modifications, but nothing has been effective. I'm taking multiple psychiatric medications, which contribute to my constipation. Is there another medication I could try for my condition?
