Could you help me understand the pathology report in simple words? The report mentions a normal-sized liver with heterogeneous liver attenuation involving predominantly the dome of the right lobe, mainly segments 7 and 8, and a small hypoattenuating lesion in segment 8 measuring approximately 1.0 cm. The patient has a history of adenocarcinoma (colon cancer) and was diagnosed in September with surgery in October. The patient is 43 years old, uses Pantoprazol for gastritis, and Carbamazepine and Keppra for epilepsy. What does this mean, and what are the next steps?

I recently had an MRI done that showed a white ball-like image on the front of my spine at the bottom level. I have a history of cervical cancer and have not been using any medication since the MRI. I have been experiencing a lot of back pain but have not been able to get a doctor to interpret the MRI for me. What could the white ball-like image indicate and how can I differentiate between possible diagnoses?

I am taking hydrocodone for an ACL reconstruction and want to switch to medical marijuana edibles to avoid opioid abuse. How long should I be off hydrocodone before using medical edibles, and how might edibles affect my pain tolerance compared to continuing with hydrocodone?

My amylase level (no fasting) was found to be 114 U/L. I am worried if that is high for an adult. What are the standard ranges for amylase, and how serious is my slightly elevated level? Should I see a doctor immediately, or can I wait a few days?

I have high liver enzyme levels (ALT of 207 and AST of 102) and was diagnosed with a fatty liver during a CT scan for possible appendicitis. I am overweight and a fairly heavy drinker. With weight loss and abstinence from alcohol, will I be able to drink again, and how can I lower my liver enzyme levels?

My daughter is coughing up small black jagged 'stones'. She has terrible coughing 'fits' and then a little blood and these stones. Her throat is sore and her throat down through her esophagus feels like a cat has clawed at her. She was in a wreck about 6 weeks ago and the side of her face was shattered with glass. Could these pieces be glass with dried blood (black) from being lodged?
