Dad has a growth under his throat since last Thursday. He was prescribed antibiotics on Friday afternoon, but the growth is still growing. He is currently taking drugs for cardio problems. We are unsure of what this is. The lump under the throat is hard and not painful.

I have a DVT in my leg from a calf surgery I had in September. The doctor has me on blood thinners until the DVT goes away by itself. She recommended that I get a second opinion if I wanted to. I was wondering if she is correct and I should let my body remove the DVT itself OR should I possibly look to getting it removed. Has DVT been stable or getting worse? Has blood thinners helped at all? What's your dosage? Is there any improvement of swelling since September? Do you have any problem walking? Did you have any repeat ultrasound recently to check on the blood clot? How big is the clot? Will a hardened clot affect my circulation in the future?

I have a vein blockage on my right leg below the knee. I took a pill and gave myself shots for 30 days, then switched to warfarin. I've been on warfarin for about 3 weeks, but the swelling hasn't reduced. In the mornings, the swelling is normal, but it starts to swell in the afternoons. There's no pain, and my knee moves fine. I'm currently only on warfarin. Should I be worried, and what should I do next?
