She hasn't had an A1C exam. She was prescribed empagliflozin (10 mg daily). Is this indicated for this condition? Shouldn't they have recommended diet adjustments, exercises, etc., and the A1C test previously instead of just prescribing this medication?

I am traveling abroad and have been sick with bronchitis or possibly pneumonia. I still have a deep cough and chest congestion, but it now seems to have also moved to my nasal passage and I have head congestion. Does it mean I’m healing when it moves from chest to head?
