Dr. Love ONLY, The oral surgeon mentioned replacing a person's jaw bone with metal due to the unavailability of 'zometa-bone' from the leg. I assumed it would be embedded and covered with gum, but now I'm concerned about it being exposed inside the mouth. I asked if a bridge could be attached, but he said there would be no place to attach it. I'm worried about the disfiguring appearance and its impact on my grandchildren. Additionally, I have some pinkness around the exposed area that comes and goes, and I'm concerned about the implications of this inflammation.
