Dr. Love only, would you mind giving your opinion on this: https://my-secure.justanswer.com/question/index/73c6a1b8350e4bbdb18085c56abac156?autoRedirectedOnMessage=waitingroom. The discussion does not change my overall opinion that I have already expressed. The only other specific comments that are worth noting is that different Neurologists may have different opinions for performing tests in someone with chronic headaches. However, the majority of Neurologists that I have known, including Headache specialists, would take the approach of the Neurologist that you have seen, rather than the Neurologist on this thread insisting that you get these tests done. But he said he didn't think it seemed like migraines. And I wrote all the reasons it is atypical for migraines. So what else could it be? That is not what he said. Although he agreed that there are some atypical features, he then said, "with your symptom of visual aura, I do think this possibility is still likely". But these are atypical. Have you EVER seen someone with such atypical migraines? I have seen people with atypical migraines, although I do not remember all the atypical features. But are mine MORE atypical than any you've seen? The symptoms don't have to match mine--but aren't mine EXTREMELY weird? I rarely have the visual aura now. And it really doesn't ever accompany a 3-minute headache. No, these headaches are not extremely weird. Again, we evaluate the full pattern of symptoms.

I have a painful, non-itchy rash under my left armpit. I recently switched deodorants and noticed the rash tonight. I am 24 years old, male, and take Welbutrin and Viibryd daily. I had unprotected sex in early June and had an HIV test a month later, which was non-reactive. Should I be concerned about the rash and the HIV test results?

I was with a girl, and I had cotton underwear on with thin shorts over them. She straddled me in her panties, and I came in my shorts, which soaked through, creating a visible wet spot. I changed within 10-15 seconds. Am I at risk of pregnancy from this situation?

I've had a couple of funny episodes over the past few days where I feel a sudden dizziness/vertigo. It's as if the floor falls away from me for a second and I have to readjust my vision. I am very tired. Also, the family has had various viruses in the past couple of weeks so perhaps it is a viral thing. And I have quite bad neck and shoulder pain so I wonder if that might be contributing. In between episodes I feel alright, although sometimes a little bit of dizziness. Going through quite a lot of stress too, so I guess it could be anxiety. Can it be anything sinister? I don't think I have any other symptoms that are noteworthy but please do tell me if there are any I should be on the look out for.

I started exercising again after a year-long break, focusing on high-volume bodyweight exercises like pushups, pull-ups, and squats. After noticing intense pain in my left flank, I went to the doctor, who suggested it might be muscular. I had bloodwork and a urine culture, which were normal. I also drank more beer than usual over the weekend. My main concern is whether rhabdomyolysis is a possibility given my symptoms and recent activities. My urine hasn't darkened, and I had a normal chemistry panel and urinalysis six weeks ago.

I have been experiencing chest pain for around 5 months, particularly when I move my head downward in a circular motion. The pain is on the right side of my chest and is a sharp dull ache. I have been prescribed ibuprofen, but it doesn't help. I do stretches and exercise regularly, and the pain is not aggravated by hand or chest movements during exercise. I have no history of fever involving joint pains, but stress and anxiety do make the symptoms worse. I am 15 years old, male, not diabetic, and have no family history of coronary artery disease or congenital heart disease. I have not had any lab examinations for this pain, but I am considering getting an MRI. Today, I also felt a slight burning sensation on the right side of my chest, which went away.
