For the past few weeks, I have noticed that sometimes there are red pieces in my stools, which are embedded and do not flow into the toilet or appear on the toilet paper. I’m not sure if it’s blood or part of something I ate. How do I know if there is blood in my stool, and what does blood in the stool typically look like?

I have a severe sore throat that started Sunday midnight and is getting worse. The pain is sharp and constant, and even swallowing saliva causes sharp pain every minute. I had a mild fever but no other symptoms like chills or congestion. I had a similar problem last year that required antibiotics. What can I do for relief?

I started antibiotics for strep throat last Sunday, but had to switch to a different antibiotic on day 4 due to a reaction. I'm having side effects and want to know if I can stop taking the new antibiotic today, which would be 10 days of antibiotics in total. I'm also concerned about small white spots on my right tonsil that have persisted for 9 days without other symptoms. Should I continue the antibiotics until Friday as instructed, or can I safely stop them today?

This morning, I had gasoline on my shoes from stopping at a gas station, and my kid and I went into the bathroom where it smelled like gas because of my shoe. We were in there for about 2-3 minutes. Is that harmful to us?

I'm a 21-year-old male experiencing a whistling sound that occurs only when there is external sound, such as when driving or when a fan is on. The sound is not present in quiet environments and does not seem to originate from inside my head, even when I plug my ears. I have perfect hearing and have been dealing with severe health anxiety for the past month. Could this whistling sound be related to my anxiety?
