For the past two weeks, I have had a very sore tummy between my belly button and just under my ribs. I've been very bloated, burping a lot, and have had diarrhea for two weeks. The pain has been bearable, feeling like a bad hunger pain, but this morning I experienced the worst pain I'd ever felt, like my stomach was about to explode. I felt like I needed to throw up but only bubbly water came up. I felt very hot and like I was going to pass out. The pain is not constant and comes and goes, feeling like a real bad hunger pain with a bloated feeling. The pain is normally dull but this morning it was an extreme cramp. I'm currently using ponstan for the pain and I'm 38 years old. I had my gallbladder removed and I smoke and was a heavy drug user. I am in a domestic violent relationship and have been extremely stressed out, leading to hair loss.

My son, who is 18 months old, has been throwing up his soy milk and experiencing constipation. I’m wondering if he’s allergic to milk protein. The vomiting started this morning and has happened twice after drinking soy milk. He’s not using any medications and hasn’t had a bowel movement in over 24 hours.

I have been exposed to a dead rat that my grandmother swept out of her house without disinfecting the area. I used the same broom to clean her floors, and my nephew played on the floor where the rat was swept. What signs of sickness should I watch for, and is there likely a treatment if we get sick from this exposure?

I’m a 27-year-old male and I’m considering quitting drinking alcohol. What changes will I notice in my body while living completely sober? Is this a good thing to consider doing?

My grandson was born a little over three weeks premature. He needed a CPAP with oxygen for about two days, was in an incubator to regulate his temperature, and now weighs 5 lbs. He is in a regular bassinet but is not eating the amount of formula the doctors want and it is supplemented with a feeding tube. They want him to have 48 hours with the right amount of formula before they remove the feeding tube and then another 48 hours of feedings before he will be discharged. Is this normal for a premature baby or could there be something else wrong with him?
