What causes excessive saliva, and what can be done about it? I have excessive saliva but do not vomit. I saw a doctor today, but she did not address this problem. I am taking Tramadol HCL 50 mg for pain, Famotidine, and Carafate for an ulcer. I had knee replacement surgery on March 29th and have a slight case of vertigo.
