I had a viral infection (flu, cold-like symptoms) which lasted for about 6 days. After recovering, I noticed a swelling in the lymph node in front of the right ear, between the cheek and the ear. I wake up with soreness there and seem to be sleeping with my mouth open. Is this a sign of a serious illness or a complication from the virus I had?

I had a mild headache and a cold 2 days ago. While trying to lift a heavy 120-pound box, I experienced a massive headache that lasted for 30 minutes and then tapered off. I thought it might be a brain aneurysm. Is this something I should be worried about? I have been fine since then. My medical history includes cancer on my mom's side and Parkinson's on my dad's side. I am 57 years old and have had no other problems.

My friend does not drink but once had an alcohol problem. He takes sertraline and was very nervous about a dinner. At the dinner, he acted drunk, slurring words, and fell in the bathtub mistaking it for the toilet. He admitted to taking extra sertraline due to nervousness and had a headache. He is also on heart meds. Should I call 911 or is this normal?
