I am experiencing ear pain that feels blocked, and when I try to clear my ears, it feels like there's fluid and causes pain. I have a history of tree pollen allergies and recently finished a course of Augmentin for chest congestion. My ear started aching tonight, and I'm unsure if I should take antibiotics again or wait for it to pass. I take Veramyst, Zyrtec, and occasional Atralink nasal spray for allergy symptoms. Could muscle strain cause this type of pain, and should I use a decongestant if I take blood pressure medication?

I'm a 40-year-old woman who recently experienced severe abdominal cramps, vomiting black matter, and passing large amounts of bright red blood. Following a flexible sigmoidoscopy, I was diagnosed with an oedematous descending colon and had multiple biopsies taken. After a recuperation period, I had an OGD and colonoscopy which revealed a hiatus hernia but no other issues. However, after eating a normal meal, I experienced diarrhea, severe abdominal cramps, passing large amounts of mucous, bloating, and other symptoms. I've now learned that my mother has Ulcerative Colitis and my brother has Crohn's Disease. Are UC and Crohn's linked? Are they genetic? Is an oedematous descending colon and 'areas of interest' a symptom of these conditions? I'm really scared, please put my mind at rest.
