I am a 49-year-old female experiencing recurring severe back pain for about two weeks. The pain comes and goes, lasting about 10 minutes each time, and does not hurt when pressed. I was healthy and had normal blood work a month ago. Could this be related to my stressful job as a same-day courier, or is it more likely a bone or muscle issue?

I have swelling in my ankles and feet, foot pain with neuropathy symptoms, and can get chest pains that go into my shoulders during stressful times. I also have a thyroid issue and high blood pressure with the pain in my feet. I've seen a neurologist and had blood tests, and I'm waiting for results. I also need to have a test where they soak my feet for 15 minutes and then check muscle response with electrodes. My chest pain can be severe, extending to my back and shoulder blades, but stress tests and EKGs show normal results. Can I still have heart issues even if tests don't show it?
