I hate metformin due to extreme side effects, and I need to lose weight. I take it because I am insulin resistant and have PCOS. Are there any other alternatives?

I have been experiencing lightheadedness, wobbly feelings, and head pressure. I have anxiety, PCOS, and fibromyalgia. I had blood tests, a CT angiogram, an MRI, an EKG, an echo, a holster monitor, and a stress test, all of which were normal.
