I have some scary marks on my lower stomach and thigh, and I don't know what's going on. I have no symptoms and haven't taken any medication. I haven't seen a doctor yet, and there's nothing else in my medical history that the doctor should know. Do you have any idea what these marks could be?

My husband came down with vomiting and diarrhea last Friday morning at 1am. He only had the vomiting symptoms for 24 hours, but it is now Wednesday and he has just felt unwell, describing the feeling as constipated, which he never has a problem with. He is still going to the toilet but with just tight cramping uncomfortable feeling and his poo has been pale in color since he first came down sick. The whole family has been down sick with the bug before him and it has just been the standard 24-hour illness. He has started taking electrolyte sachets 2 days ago to try to help as it’s all we have as we live remotely. Would there be certain foods you would suggest he try and eat? Has he seen a doctor about the cramping? Anything else in his medical history you think the doctor should know?

After suffering great trauma on the foot, undergoing surgery, and reaching maximum medical improvement, a patient is still in pain and experiences occasional numbness. The doctor releases the patient under his care, stating that pain can only be managed through medication. Does this mean nothing else can be done to be pain-free? Are there any options to manage pain and occasional numbness of the affected area, and how can a disputed FCE report be contested?

I've been struggling with severe back pain for about 2 and 2/12 years. I've used ibuprofen and Aleve for it, and I've seen a doctor who suggested it might be due to tight hamstrings, but I don't think that's the case. What could be causing my back pain, and what treatments or exercises can help?
