I was with her before she tested positive and have mild symptoms myself, such as a slight dry cough and mild aches, but my rapid test was negative. I am isolating and want to know: 1) Could my rapid test be a false negative given my mild symptoms? 2) Should I retest in a few days? 3) Should my elderly parents, whom I saw a week ago, get tested even though my girlfriend did not interact with them?
