I have been on Chantix for almost 3 weeks but it has not helped me at all. However, today there seemed to be a difference. I was able to go for up to 2 hours without smoking. Could it have taken awhile to reach optimum level for me? Or have I reached the desired level of medication without success? Should I continue perhaps another week and keep trying to quit? I called the manufacturer of Chantix but they would not answer my question.

I went swimming on Memorial Day weekend and two days later I started having crusty ear wax forming. Tried the ear wax removal recommended by my pharmacist at Walgreens. That did not help. Have tried the swimmers ear treatment also, I am still getting excessive draining, but no pain!!! Hearing is a little muffled but not that bad. Have tried peroxide, and alcohol. Any suggestions???

Is there any risk of acquiring HCV or HIV if you swallow a 'speed bomb' (powder wrapped in a piece of paper and swallowed)? Can you get infected via the substance itself, or do infections occur only when sharing needles, syringes, etc.? I am worried since I swallowed three 'speed bombs' in a club.

I have been diagnosed with a crushed knee cap. What are the treatments for that? I had a total knee replacement done by Doctor Thurston in Ottawa, Ontario, and experienced a fall sometime after, possibly in April or May. The knee in question started to bend more than it should and became harder to do straight leg raises.
