I am 29 years old and have been a moderate smoker and using hormonal contraception for 4 years. In August 2012, after a long flight, I experienced foot swelling, chest pains, and trouble breathing. I switched to a different birth control and have reduced smoking. How likely is it that I may have a blood clot from August, and should I go to the emergency?

Why won't they create me a medical record? I have chest dysphoria and strep throat. I was originally from the United Kingdom and need topical cream for both conditions. I saw a doctor about strep throat when I was ten on 6/1/2007. Is there anything else in my medical history the doctor should know?
