I have been experiencing flu-like symptoms for 3 days, including headaches, congestion, facial pain, body aches, joint stiffness, sore throat, nausea, fever (ranging from 99 to 101), and coughing (wet cough with clear/white/tinge of yellow mucus). My husband and father-in-law are also experiencing the same symptoms. I want to know if this is a virus or something that needs a prescription.

It looks much better, but I woke up with a hoarse voice. I did not sleep last night and talked a lot yesterday more than normal. Could I have MRSA in my throat?
