I am 64 years old and frequently visit the pool and beach. Since taking Norvasc and Cozaar, I have noticed frequent bruising, making me look like a war victim. I am very active and get my share of bumps, but it doesn't take much to cause an ugly, dark, and splotchy bruise. Could either Norvasc or Cozaar be causing this, and what other factors or tests might be involved?

A woman friend tested positive for Chlamydia. We had sex on Jan. 20th using a condom, but I performed oral sex on her. Since then, I've had unprotected sex and oral sex with another woman. If I test positive, I know what to do. If I test negative, should I: 1. Get an oral test to ensure I don't have Chlamydia in my mouth, or would that show up in the urine test? 2. Inform my last partner to get tested, as I might have passed it on to her without getting it myself, and is that possible? Additionally, how long can one have Chlamydia without symptoms?

I was told I should undergo a TURP (transurethral resection prostate) due to prostate enlargement, but I am still able to urinate with difficulty. I am taking Alfuzosin and wake up twice a night to urinate. I have questions about the potential side effects of continuing Alfuzosin, how long I can wait before getting TURP surgery, whether my bladder and kidneys could be damaged, and if I should consider laser or microwave surgery instead of the traditional TURP.

I weigh 15 stone and am on 160mg of methadone a day. What amount of methadone would be lethal for me, and what level should I avoid to prevent accidental overdose, given that I have inflammatory rheumatoid arthritis and often self-medicate with methadone due to past addiction issues preventing other doctors from prescribing alternative pain relief?
