I experience sharp pain under my right ribcage every other day, which feels like a bruised rib but without any visible bump. The pain is tender to touch and occurs monthly, recently becoming more frequent and intense. It feels like pressure when I lay down and is not triggered by any known cause. I visited a doctor who diagnosed it as muscle pain, but I'm concerned it might be something else. What could be causing this pain, and should I be concerned?

I have terrible burning and tingling in my feet, ankles, and calves with swelling that does not go down at night. I didn't sleep at all last night for the pain in my calves and ankles. I can hardly stand and walk—can't straighten my legs at all. When I wear compression socks up to my knees, my thighs swell too. How long have you had the swelling? About how large is the affected area? Are your thighs painful or tender? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
