I am a 27-year-old female with a history of acid reflux and digestive issues, including IBS. I experience sharp pain under my right ribcage every other day, which feels like a bruised rib but without any visible bump. The pain is tender to touch and occurs monthly, recently becoming more frequent and intense. It feels like pressure when I lay down and is not triggered by any known cause. I visited a doctor who diagnosed it as muscle pain, but I'm concerned it might be something else. What could be causing this pain, and should I be concerned?
