I am a 35-year-old obese male. Occasionally, I experience a sensation in the middle of my chest that feels like my heart skips a beat, which lasts for just one heartbeat. This sensation typically occurs in the evening when I am relaxing. I had a normal EKG five months ago, but I did not experience the sensation during the test. Should I be concerned about this, and could it lead to cardiac arrest? I exercise almost daily and the sensation never occurs during exercise.
