I am a 43-year-old male with a T-7 spinal cord incomplete injury and type 2 diabetes. I noticed some red in my stool and included pictures. Does this look like blood or food? Yesterday’s stool seemed fine in color and shape, with no red at all. I use a suppository for bowel movements. The previous doctor I spoke to believed this was related to food rather than blood. What do you think?

I have an inguinal hernia. Would this cause me to have groin pain that causes me to limp, even if I cannot feel a lump and the pain is intermittent?

I feel tired all the time and don't know if it's depression. I want to get a CBC and thyroid test (I have an Rx for it) but am afraid that-- since my back is hurting-- it will throw red cell count off. I read that inflammation can cause a low red cell count. Should I wait 'til my back feels better or get the blood test now. In other words, is what I read correct? Thanks.

I have had ear pain since last Thursday morning. No fever, but constant pain. Have been using ear drop antibiotics since Thursday with no improvement. Is it unusual to have ear pain for over 4 days? What could be the reason for the antibiotics not working at all? I am 71 years old and have a history of ICU stay due to a blackout with blood in the brain and sprained back muscles, but mostly manageable before the ear pain.

I use Yuvafem, an estrogen tablet, and my current drug plan prefers estrogen creams. Are the creams comparable to the estrogen tablet in terms of effectiveness and safety?
