I am a 48-year-old certified medical assistant living in Thomaston, GA. Since April, my health has rapidly deteriorated, with symptoms gradually showing over the last four years. I have lost over 40 lbs, now weighing 114 lbs at 5'9", despite eating more. My last labs showed a low BUN of 3, a BUN creatinine ratio of 7, and elevated phosphorus level. My energy is almost gone, and I can barely manage household tasks. I had an adrenal stimulation test with no answers, and my vitamin D level is low despite taking 2000 units daily. What could be causing this, and what tests should I consider?

I have been experiencing frequent urination and severe pressure on my bladder for two weeks. My doctor found no infection but prescribed two different antibiotics. The pressure on my bladder persists even after urination. I vaguely recall someone mentioning a friend whose bladder had fallen and required stitching. What can you tell me about this?

I am a 63-year-old female who had a colonoscopy yesterday and a large, flat polyp was discovered. A part was removed for a biopsy. I was told that if it is benign, I will have another colonoscopy in a few weeks for its removal, and should it be malignant I will have surgery. I have 2 prior colonoscopies which were both clear. I read that flat polys were 10 times more likely to be malignant. Is this true? Also, what is your opinion about the chances of my polyp's being benign?

I experienced decompression sickness (the bends) due to a nitrogen bubble in the early 80s while stationed at NAS Miramar as a Hospital Corpsman. I now have several blood clots in my left leg and was advised that the bends could manifest years later with circulatory problems. Could you provide a professional opinion and any documented cases of similar complications to support my service-connected disability claim for my current blood clotting (DVTs)?

I have to pass urine every two hours during the night time, from 22.30 to 07.30, totaling 5 times. Each measure is approximately 400 grams. This is disrupting my sleep and I am not diabetic. My doctor has prescribed Desmopressin, but it has had no effect. I am 66 years old, on blood pressure tablets, and overweight for my height. I drink approximately 3/4 glasses of wine and try not to drink after 1900hrs, but it has no effect. What could be causing this frequent urination at night and what further tests or treatments should I consider?
