I am a 57-year-old female with brown/tea-colored urine, high alkaline phosphatase levels in liver function tests, bloating, and white blood cells in my urine but no urinary tract infection. I have a history of smoking, back injury, and use of strong pain medication. I am also concerned about my weight gain and depression. What could be causing these symptoms?

I had a trabeculectomy last year in April and I'm having continuous problems with inflammation and pain. My doctor has me on prednisolone 1% eye drops for over a year now, and this is not helping much. Do you think this frequent inflammation could be from sinusitis? Please help me.

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, and I would like to lose about 10lbs before I actually get pregnant. I have a wedding at the end of September that I am in. Is there anything that would help me lose this weight more quickly that is safe also?

I recently had a TSH reflex and FT4 test to check my thyroid. My TSH reflex was 4.23 H (normal range is .27 - 4.20, so it's .03 over the limit) and my FT4 was 0.81 L (normal range is .93 - 1.70, so it is .12 lower than normal). Do I need to be concerned? Do I need a supplement with just a few points difference? I am 66 years old and in pretty good health, but had a mastectomy in 2003 and was on Arimidex but off it now.

I had a full knee joint replacement in June 2008, but the knee is still very swollen and painful. I have had further keyhole surgery for a biopsy and infection check, but nothing was found. Do I have any choice other than having the knee replacement replaced?
