I am a 57-year-old female with no medications and no known allergies. I have had a fever of 100.8°F on and off for 5 days, along with aches and a cough. Is it necessary to see a doctor or should I let the illness run its course?

I have been peeing blood for 5 days, which has been progressively thickening and getting darker. The ER did blood work and found high WBCs, indicating a UTI. However, the urine analysis was negative for everything except blood and high protein. I am immunocompromised and have low back pain and intermittent severe abdominal pain. Should I be concerned, and what should I do next?

What is the cause for elevated ferritin in my situation? I am a 40-year-old Asian male with no medical conditions, on no medications, and had elevated ferritin levels after binge drinking. Despite abstaining from alcohol and seeing some improvement, ferritin levels remain elevated. What are your thoughts on this, and what should be the next steps?

Are sugar-free cough drops better for you? I feel like the ones with sugar work better, but I don’t know if that is actually true.
