I am a pre-diabetic and want to manage/prevent hyperglycemia during a 20+ hour flight. I experience hyperglycemia even after shorter flights and am concerned about potential episodes during the long flight. How can I better control or prevent hyperglycemia during travel?

I have been having trouble breathing while sleeping and staying asleep. I am currently on Lexapro and Vistaril, I am 21 years old, and have been experiencing this issue for the past few days, although it has happened occasionally in the past. I have a congested feeling and difficulty breathing through my nose when I lay down to sleep. I also wake up drooling, at random hours of the night, and feel restless once awake for the day. I have been told I snore. I have seen a doctor before who thought it could be seasonal allergies, and I have an allergy test coming up. I am currently using Flonase and Allegra, but I'm not sure how much they are helping. I am overweight and do not smoke. I get seasonal allergies from time to time but no other respiratory conditions. I have noticed snoring, daytime sleepiness, and dry mouth in the morning, but not gasping. What could be causing these symptoms and what can I do in the meantime?

Will hemorrhoid blood always show up on a fecal occult blood test (FOB), even if they arenā€™t bleeding at the time? If I have a positive FOB test due to hemorrhoids, should I still worry about colon cancer and consider getting a colonoscopy? Is there typically a long wait time for a colonoscopy, and does a history of loose stools for several years without other symptoms increase the risk of colon cancer?

Hello, I have been fine all day. Went to a super fun concert with my family, but my Grammy who was with us had been really fighting a cold. I came back tonight with the girls, had one glass of wine, then started feeling like I have a fever. Iā€™ve read I shouldnā€™t take anything for it after a small glass of wine but I wanted to talk with someone about it because I donā€™t wanna feel miserable all night. How long have you had the fever? Besides the fever, do you also have a cough or chills? How is your breathing? Do you have any pre-existing respiratory conditions like asthma? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
