Monica J. asked
I am a type 1 diabetic with blood sugar levels spiking to 8.3 in the morning, 9.2 at lunch, and 10.2 at dinner. My daily calorie intake is under 500, and I take 4 units of insulin three times a day, with an additional dose at bedtime. I have been on the same insulin doses for six years and am also taking medications for cholesterol and B12. What could be causing my blood sugar spikes, and what should I do?

My scalp is itching, internal hair is falling out, and it's painful. The pain is constant, and I've tried using Medicaid shampoos, recommended oils, ketoconazole, tea tree oil, and Head and Shoulders, but there's no relief. What could be causing this, and what treatments can help?
