I am 77 years old and have been diagnosed with atelectasis of the sinuses. I don't have any symptoms and don't notice any difference in my appearance, however, the doctor says that my right eye is lower than my left. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from getting worse other than surgery, and would you think that at my age this should not progress too rapidly?

I have mismatched skin texture and color on my elbows, which are wrinkly and a different shade than the rest of my fair-skinned body. Despite using various treatments like pumice stones, abrasive ointments, moisturizers, Chlorox, and Jolen's bleaching product, I haven't seen any improvement.
