I am in so much pain due to stage 3 Lyme disease. I have been misdiagnosed for 5 years and tested positive for Borrelia burgdorferi. I am currently taking medication for parasites and experiencing severe pain, brain fog, and speech issues. No one believes in chronic Lyme disease. I am scheduled to see a new doctor and a pain clinic, but I need help until then. What hospital or place can I get help for my pain?

I have been experiencing severe lower back pain for about 2 weeks, which sometimes radiates to my back ribs and wakes me up at night. The only position that provides relief is the fetal position. I also feel sick to my stomach, have cramping bowel movements, and had slightly dark urine initially. I'm on various medications, including painkillers, but they don't seem to help. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?

I am a 50-year-old female with a family history of stroke and varicose veins. I started taking a low-dose aspirin daily based on a friend's suggestion, but I'm concerned about the possible side effects I've read about. I've been taking it for two to three months and have recently experienced random sharp pains in my head. Can I safely stop taking aspirin, and could it have caused any adverse effects like bleeding in the brain?

I recently injured my right knee, which is very painful and has a history of surgery in 2004 for a torn meniscus. I am a gastric bypass patient and am limited in what medications I can take. What can you recommend for pain relief?

Just had heart catheterization ablation 3 weeks ago for acute tachycardia. The doctor who performed the procedure said he ablated as much as he could but had to stop because the electrical problem was in the conduction center of my heart. If he ablated any more, he would have had to put in a pacemaker. The procedure did not work, and my normal heart rate is now very erratic, beating anywhere from 160 to 240 a minute. My cardiologist increased my dosage of cardizem from 240 mg to 360 mg a day and said we would monitor it. Given the dangerous location of the electrical problem, my cardiologist seems more laid back than the ablation doctor. What should I think about this situation?

I had a bladder sling operation to relieve stress incontinence on April 26. It's been 3 weeks and I smell a bad odor that makes me very self-conscious. I shower daily but notice the odor by noon. What is going on?
