I had a sudden improvement in my congestion two days ago, but now I'm experiencing pain in my right cheekbone, similar to a toothache, and a slow return of congestion, especially on the right side. I also have post nasal drip and feel tired and disoriented. I've been taking amoxicillin, Nasonex spray, and mirtazapine. My mucus is now white instead of green or yellow. I'm concerned if this is part of the natural recovery process or if I might be developing another condition. Additionally, I'm worried about the effectiveness of my new antibiotics after stopping the previous course for three days and whether my upcoming septoplasty and polyp removal surgery will cure my sinus infection.
