I am scheduled for a colonoscopy today at noon, but after drinking SUPREP 6 hours ago, I have not had any bowel movements, only bubble sounds in my gut. I have IBS-C and had a bowel movement about 40 hours ago, but not a full one since then. I am concerned about the safety of not eliminating the SUPREP solution and whether it could cause liver or kidney damage. Should I go to bed and drink the other bottle of SUPREP when I wake up, or cancel my appointment? I also pass gas, which I believe indicates no blockage. What should I do?

Hello doctor, my upper stomach hurts the whole night and I feel indigestion and nausea. I also feel like something is stuck in my throat and I keep burping. What is it? Is it dyspepsia or indigestion? What medicine should I take? I am 41 years old and female. I feel nauseated and like something is stuck in my throat and I keep burping. I ate lumpia yesterday and felt it right after eating. This has been on and off for almost a week.

I was practicing in my aerial hammock class and felt/heard a pop in my lower left rib cage, followed by pain when trying to lift or do a pull-up. The pain is intense with certain movements, especially when engaging my core muscles, but I can stretch, bend, and turn with relatively no pain. How should I manage this pain, and what type of doctor should I see for evaluation?

I fell down a flight of stairs six months ago and did not seek medical attention initially. Both my ankles became swollen immediately following the fall, and I experienced intermittent discomfort and mild swelling in the outer region of both ankles, especially after standing for extended periods. I did not directly hit my ankles during the fall but instead hit the back of both legs in the area of the Achilles tendon. There is no pain, just a strange sensation and persistent mild swelling. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I had a fistula surgery on January 19, but I still have severe pain in my pelvic area and my fistula opening is draining pus, blood, and fecal matter. There is also swelling around the fistula opening. How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse? Is there anything else in your medical history the doctor should know?

I have advanced prostate cancer that has metastasized to the spine and lumbar region, with a 4cm growth in a lumbar vertebrae. My PSA is 0.3, and I've been taking hormones (Lupron and bicalutamide) for about 18 months. I am not hormonally resistant. Should I treat the growth in my spine first due to concerns about eventual fracture, or should I proceed with irradiating the prostate as my doctors suggest?
