I have scleroderma and experienced severe abdominal cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea with thick, dark stool, along with sweats and chills. I suspect it might be norovirus or gastrointestinal illness. I am currently on Losec, Domperidone, Adalat, and Resotran for bowel issues. I stopped taking Resotran when I became ill. Does this sound like norovirus, and is it safe to continue Resotran after the symptoms have subsided?

My son, a 22-year-old college senior, has been experiencing recurrent strep throat infections and frequent nosebleeds since he was a pre-teen. Had a clavicle surgery 3 months ago. X-rays show a small piece of bone not completely connected in the middle (triangle). Concerned about the need for revision surgery and the potential risk of the bone piece causing future issues. Is surgery necessary, and could it be the surgeon's fault?
