I developed hemorrhoid-like symptoms (burning, itching, pain) after a high fiber diet, and noticed a 'growth' in the area. After a misdiagnosis of a polyp, I found it was stuck to my body hairs. Should I keep my appointment with the general surgeon, or is it better to leave it alone?

I have discomfort in my chest, not pain exactly, but more like a weight in the upper part around the heart. It started about 3 days ago. I haven't used any medication for it and have no underlying medical issues that I know of. What should I do?

I woke up with horrible pain in my urinary tract, feeling dizzy, and seeing light red color on the toilet paper. I suspect it's a UTI and have tried cranberry juice and over-the-counter pills, but they haven't helped. My doctor isn't available, and I don't want to go to the ER. What should I do for this infection?

I went to a CVS MinuteClinic to get an anal lump checked out. The nurse practitioner identified it as a polyp, not external hemorrhoids, and didn't seem overly concerned about it being cancerous. I have a few more details about my health status: symptoms have improved, I noticed painful bumps on my left buttock, groin pain, more gas than usual, prostate-related pain, a normal Cologuard result 2 years and 10 months ago, a normal colonoscopy 15 years ago with internal hemorrhoids found, I've gained 25 pounds in the last 2 years, and I eat a healthy diet but have acid reflux from fruit. My main concerns are: what are the recommended diagnostic procedures, my severe allergic reaction to twilight anesthesia during an endoscopy, and whether the polyp could be related to hemorrhoids.
