I experienced a large amount of rectal bleeding a month ago with no stool, followed by inflammation of 60% of the colon (right side greater than left) on CT scan. I had a negative stool pathogen panel and was started on antibiotics, which worsened my condition. I was then hospitalized and switched to steroids, which improved my symptoms. However, the bleeding resumed after tapering off the steroids. I had a normal CT two weeks later. My CRP and WBC were slightly elevated on admission, but everything else was within normal limits. I had a tubular adenoma removed in 2014 and a normal colonoscopy in 2019. I continue to have bleeding and want to understand if this could be inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) versus an infectious cause, and whether I should continue with prednisone or consider other medications.

I have been experiencing regular nose blocks, especially in the morning when I wake up, for the past 3 months. Along with this, I have chills and dry nose sometimes. I also sneeze and experience nose blocks, particularly with spices. I haven't taken any medication for this. What could be causing this and what can I do to alleviate the symptoms?

I am super anxious about the possibility of catching HIV from oral sex. Can you clarify the risk and whether I need to take any preventive measures like PREP?

Can I be treated medically for bronchitis via a virtual appointment? I have a cough that has improved over the last two weeks but is still active at night or when I lie down, mild chest pain, and I had pneumonia after getting COVID last year. I am 31 years old and not currently using any medications.

I think I have a chest and sinus infection. This started on Thursday and I have also lost most of my voice. I'm 49 years old and not currently using any medications. I do have a cough with a lot of green phlegm but no blood. What should I do?

Can you please confirm if the medicine I am taking for PrEP is also being used for PEP? The medicine I am taking is Tenofovir Disoproxil/Emtricitabine Mylan. Does it mean that it's killing two birds with one stone? Just in case I am exposed, how accurate was my HIV test 4 weeks from exposure while using PrEP, and does PrEP really work?
