I experienced stress and changes in my stool consistency, diet, and calorie intake. After passing a hard stool, I could pass gas at will, but after a soft stool, I couldn't pass gas without an immediate urge to use the washroom. Additionally, I felt lightheaded, yawned a lot, and experienced numbness during yawns after a smooth bowel movement. Is this normal due to water/fiber/stool softeners and a sudden change in diet, and could the sudden low-calorie intake and dietary changes be causing these symptoms?

My grandma has been having multiple, serious nosebleeds for days, and she threw up today. She had a fever and her nose blistered when it started. I'm worried she has an infection or something. What could be causing this and what should we do?

Does having herpes zoster (shingles) on the stomach mean you have HIV or AIDS? I was diagnosed with genital herpes 13 years ago and haven’t had an outbreak in 7 years. I’m going through a divorce and have been very emotionally stressed. I now have a small cluster of bumps on my abdomen that look like herpes.

I am a 62-year-old male experiencing intermittent tightness in the jaw and chest. I have not had a check-up in three years, have a family history of high blood pressure, and am currently not on any medications. The pain doesn't last long, typically 5 to 10 minutes. What could be the cause of this pain, and what should I do?

I suffer from panic disorder, which is well managed with medication and therapy. I recently had an endoscopy with biopsy under propofol sedation and am now experiencing episodes of hot flashes, nausea, increased heart rate, and a general feeling of not being well. I want to know the potential side effects or complications from the sedation/procedure and how long they can last versus this being a flare-up of my anxiety. Additionally, I take Klonopin 0.25 mg three times a day and Zoloft 100 mg daily for my panic disorder. What could be causing these symptoms and how long should I expect them to last?

I’m a 38-year-old male, 6’3”, 285lbs, ex-smoker, leading an active life. I have been experiencing pain in my upper left chest, left shoulder, and left upper back for 3 days. The pain seems to move around and is not in the center of my chest. It feels like a soreness but cannot be recreated by pressing on it. I have no shortness of breath or nausea, and I haven’t lifted anything heavy or caused any injury. I’ve had a full cardiac workup in the last 8 months, including a nuclear stress test, EKG, ECG, 48-hour Holter monitor, cardiac ultrasound, and chest X-rays, all of which showed only frequent benign PVCs. I’m concerned about a cardiac issue despite the test results. What could be causing this pain?
