I have suffered from severe anxiety and depression since the unnecessary neonatal death of my daughter and 20 years of marriage to a narcissistic bullying police officer husband (now divorced). My GP has prescribed mitrazepine citraloprim and venlafaxine, but these have worsened my anxiety and caused nausea, fatigue, and insomnia. I was extremely anxious two weeks ago, and my GP prescribed citraloprim last week, which made my weekend the worst ever. I am a nurse prescriber and have been researching duloxetine, which appears effective. Please advise on the best medication to try first.
