I got my blood results back for STD testing. I am negative in all areas except HSV1 (cold sores). However, I cannot find where it says negative for HSV2 on my paperwork, even though my doctor said it was also negative. I am worried. Should I be concerned about HSV2, especially since I do not have any symptoms and it has been approximately 2 months since a possible exposure?

I have an ear infection and have been taking amoxicillin 875 mg twice a day since last Wednesday night. My ear feels better but is still plugged. If I see a doctor, is there anything they can do to open my ear up?

My daughter, who is 20 years old and takes Claritin for allergies, had ear irrigation for wax buildup one week ago. Since then, she has experienced itchiness, sporadic ear pain, and her ear remains very wet with acetic acid 2% optic solution ear drops. The pain has slightly increased and is uncomfortable. Is this normal with these drops, and should she continue using them?

I've always had a lower stomach bump that is hard, even when I was young and skinny. I have an ovarian cyst and take birth control. Could this stomach bump be related to my cyst or diet, and what can I do to achieve a flatter stomach?

I have been experiencing chills, sweats, fatigue, shortness of breath, headache, and joint pain mainly in my wrists and knees. The joint pain just started yesterday and gets worse with rest. I was at the doctor last week for these symptoms and was tested for Lyme disease, pneumonia, and influenza, with a chest X-ray and blood tests. All tests came back negative except for slightly elevated white blood cell counts. I have a history of a mild heart attack in 2001 with one stent and diabetes. What could be causing these symptoms?

I had a liver ultrasound that showed hepatic steatosis and hepatocellular dysfunction. What does this mean, and is it reversible with diet, exercise, and abstaining from alcohol?
