I had a bad cold three weeks ago, and now I have discomfort in my right lung, similar to what I experienced in my left lung before it went away. I don't have a fever, just congestion that I can't cough up. What could be causing this and what can I do until I can see a doctor on Friday?

I had a knee infection treated with six weeks of antibiotics. Now that I'm off the antibiotics and the knee brace, my knee is still swollen and buckles. I have arthritis and had previous operations on my meniscus and patella tendon. Why does my knee buckle and is the infection the reason for the swelling?

Can a person take atenolol, omeprazole, atorvastatin, diltiazem, and aspirin at the same time in a day? I usually take these medicines with breakfast each day.

My 3-year-old son has trouble straightening his left thumb, especially the top portion. He can move it himself, but I noticed something was wrong when he did a thumbs-up sign and the finger wasn’t bending as normal. I can straighten it by massaging it, and sometimes I feel a pop. He hasn’t complained about pain, but there was discomfort when I touched the top portion of his thumb yesterday. What could be the issue, and is there anything I can do to help with the discomfort?

I have been feeling unwell with pale stool and a sluggish gallbladder as shown by an abdominal MRI. My direct bilirubin was at the upper end of normal. Could these symptoms be related, and is it possible for the MRI to have missed a blockage or a more serious condition like a tumor?
