I have a recurring sensitivity on the left side of my face that feels sensitive to cold/heat and comes and goes daily. I also feel similar sensations in other parts of my body. I had a rash once, but it went away. I have a pinched nerve and herniated disk in my lower back. Could this be related to a pinched nerve in my neck or shingles? What doctor should I consult for this issue?

I have swelling in my arm after an IV for a CT scan with contrast. The area is warm and tender. The injury that required the IV occurred 11 days ago. I've only taken ibuprofen 800. The primary injury was caused by falling off a horse, but I'm concerned the swelling might be from a vein issue due to the IV. I also have controlled high blood pressure. What should I do?

US physicians: Have you ever heard of or prescribed buprenorphine for chronic daily headaches, after all other therapies have failed, and other opioids like methadone are not accepted by the patient? Additionally, is buprenorphine safer in terms of drug interactions compared to tramadol, and can it be taken as needed without causing withdrawal symptoms?

My girlfriend is not feeling well. Her heart rate is very fast (120bpm at rest), she is very worried and her anxiety is very bad. She said she is nauseous and her pulse feels like it’s racing. She’s 45 years old, has dizziness, vomiting, and diarrhea. I took her EKG and it didn’t detect any Afib or anything, just tachycardia. Her temp is 97.9, bp is 130 over 95, and pulse is 146 now. She has been stressed all day and hasn’t taken her Celexa in 3 days. Her skin is crawling, she’s hot then cold, can’t stop going to the bathroom, and has a headache. Her mom has similar symptoms but is getting better. What should we do?
