My eye is very red and swollen around the cornea, and it also hurts to touch my eyelid and close my eye. I've been dealing with this for the last 4 hours. I had salmonella 2 weeks ago. Could this be related, and what should I do?

I have been using ketoconazole for several weeks, but it hasn't been effective. Which is better for treating my fungal infection, terbinafine or fluconazole? I prefer not to take another pill and would like to know if these medications come in topical form and if they have the same side effects. Also, if I need a stronger dose, which one should I ask my dermatologist for? Should the treatment be applied to the scrotum if the fungus hasn't expanded?
