I had arthroscopic knee surgery yesterday and was prescribed Tylenol 3. If I am not having pain sufficient to warrant taking the Tylenol 3, is it okay not to take them, or is there another reason I should be taking them? Do they help with reducing swelling?

I'm a 60-year-old woman with severe swelling in my ankles, lower legs, and abdomen, and constipation that started after a mini-facelift and has persisted despite various treatments. I have a calcified appendicolith, small cysts on my liver and kidney, and my thyroid is slightly off. Could I have acute appendicitis without pain, and what metabolic problems could be causing my symptoms?

I have developed a mild case of Hepatitis from interaction with antibiotics and other medications such as blood pressure medicine. I suspect benazepril 40 mg, amlodipine 10 mg, tamsulosin .4 mg, and omeprazole 40 mg twice daily. I recently had Barrett's surgery and cyst drainage on my pancreas. I am currently off all prescription medications but have been prescribed 10 mg prednisone twice daily. The itching is really bad. Is there anything that can be done for itching relief?

Fluorouracil Topical cream USP, 5% has been prescribed. I don't believe I have DPD enzyme deficiency disorder, which is contraindicated. Should I use the cream?

I have muscle cramps that have been occurring off and on for a month or two. I took some Tylenol about 20 minutes ago. I am a 64-year-old diabetic man. What could be causing the cramps and what can I do to alleviate them?
