I had lumbar surgery 3 months ago for fusion of L4-5-S1 with decompression for spondyolosthesis. My weakness and nerve pain in my legs went away after surgery. I've been going to PT for eight weeks and walking 2 miles daily. I now have an aching pain in my back on the left side that extends to my outer thigh and a knot in my left butt cheek. What could this be and is it a cause for concern?

I am a 41-year-old woman experiencing nausea, stomach discomfort, extreme tiredness, and black stools after eating. I have been on 800 mg of ibuprofen for 8+ months and recently switched to Celebrex. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

I have numbness in my left arm followed by a tightening sensation in my left breast and pain that travels to my ears. I have breast implants and do weight training at the gym. Sometimes I also experience a warm flush sensation at the middle upper aspect of my back. I did a full cardiac workup which was fine, and an MRI which showed slight bulging attributed to sleeping on 2 pillows. What could be causing these symptoms?

I started taking Norvasc 10mg last Sunday and have been feeling very depressed since then. I've informed my psychiatrist, but he downplayed it. I'm considering stopping it abruptly. I have a history of depression and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and I also have hypertension. My current medications include Cymbalta, Viibryd, Seroquel, Klonopin, and Cytomel. My blood pressure has been as high as 160/110, and I'm also taking Diovan 160mg. What should I do about the depression and high blood pressure?

My sister went for her first dialysis. She started with two-hour sessions but today they increased the time to four hours. Since then, her blood pressure increased to 225/124 (very high). The doctor gave her two tablets to lower her pressure and will retake it in an hour. Can you explain her high blood pressure? Do you think she needs to stay at two-hour dialysis sessions for a while longer? She is not ready for three sessions per week, each lasting four hours.
