I had microfracture surgery in April 2010 on my left medial femur/knee articulating surface. I recovered normally but experienced more pain in a different location in November 2010. A repeat MRI showed osteonecrosis above the surgical site. I took conservative measures but the pain returned in March, much worse. My sports medicine doctor doesn't know the next step. I am 44 years old, otherwise healthy, with no trauma to the knee. Should I have a contrast bone scan or a repeat MRI?

I am an Australian female aged 63 and a half, prescribed Efexor-XR Cap 75mg for 6 years. After missing two nights of medication, I decided to stop taking it. I am experiencing nausea, vomiting, hot and cold sweats, vertigo, vision disturbances, and brain buzzes. I have read that I should taper off this medication slowly or use another medication like Prozac to minimize side effects. I need to know if continuing to stop the medication will be harmful and how long these symptoms will last.

I have a finger that bruises easily and fills up with blood. Any pressure on it causes it to get worse. It's quite painful and I'm unable to wring out a washcloth. Why is this happening and what can be done about it?

I had a lymph node removed from the groin area a month and a half ago, initially diagnosed as metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. Now, a growth on my toe, removed a couple of weeks ago, is also diagnosed as malignant melanoma. Is this a grim situation?
