I had symptoms of a cold on July 8th, including a sore throat, tiredness, and headache, but no cough, congestion, or fever. I self-quarantined and took a COVID test, which came back negative. I also took a Z-pack for possible strep throat. Since then, I've experienced throat tightness, chest pressure, difficulty breathing, and fatigue, especially with activity. My oxygen levels and pulse are normal, and I have no fever or loss of smell. I'm awaiting the results of another COVID test and have been referred to a cardiologist. My questions are: 1) How do I know when to go to the ER? 2) How dangerous is just resting and waiting a few weeks for a cardiology appointment? 3) Should I wait for the results of the other COVID test before ending my self-quarantine?

I just started taking letrozole for early stage breast cancer. Is insomnia a known side effect? I have been taking it at night, as it says on the pamphlet that it may cause drowsiness.

Is it necessary to take Armour Thyroid at least 2-4 hours apart from iron and calcium supplements, and is this precaution specific to Armour Thyroid and not synthetic thyroid medications like Synthroid?

My husband hit his head on our garage door last night, was knocked unconscious for a minute, and is now experiencing confusion and memory loss. He is 41 years old, has no current medications, and has a history of brain damage from a car wreck 15 years ago. What could be the issue and what should we do?

Is it true that nasal mucus often carries MRSA, and if so, does it pose a risk of MRSA infection if it comes into contact with a skin wound? Additionally, how can we reduce the risk of colon cancer when consuming a diet high in red meat?

Over the last several days, I seem to be getting bug bites. A few days ago, four bites appeared on my right arm, two on the forearm, two on the bicep. Then last night, I noticed a new bite on my left foot. Then tonight, two new ones showed up on my right arm, one on the forearm and one by itself on the other side of the forearm. I was almost certain they were mosquito bites, but it has been 3-4 days and I haven’t seen a single bug. Is it normal for a mosquito to feed in the house for several days and go undetected? Can someone confirm these are most likely mosquito bites and not bed bugs? I have a newborn and am concerned about having to get rid of them and where I would go with him.
