I have pain in the back side above the rectum described as 'ingrowing curly hair'. When did it develop, how large is the area, is it swollen, are there any discharges from it, and have you had any other treatments?

I was given a Z pack for bronchitis and possible sinus infection, but I'm experiencing severe stomach pain, cramping, and diarrhea after each dose, with nausea the next morning. My doctor prescribed amoxicillin instead. My main concern is avoiding C. difficile. Will switching antibiotics mid-course increase the risk of C. difficile? Should I complete the full ten-day course of amoxicillin even though I've already taken two days of Z pack?
