I am recovering from knee surgery and was prescribed hydrocodone 5 mg, but I was given an oval white pill with 44413 on it, which I found out is an aspirin and caffeine pill. Was I given the wrong prescription?

I gave my daughter Motrin for a headache and she said it tasted old. I smelt the Motrin and it smelt like antibiotics. I am thinking it must have gotten cross-contaminated when she was sick a few days ago and was taking both Motrin and antibiotics. Can this hurt her?
