I have an MRI report that shows findings including chondral thinning, subchondral cyst formation, insertional tendinosis of the gluteus minimus and medius, and a palpable knot on the lateral side of my left hip that has doubled in size over the past year. The knot is not fluid-like a lipoma and causes burning pain that radiates down my leg. The physician wants to give me a shot for bursitis but did not examine me thoroughly. What do you think about the diagnosis and treatment plan?

I had C02 laser resurfacing of my face on 1/18/24. Today is day 21 post-procedure, and I suddenly lost a concerning patch of skin on my right cheek. I am using Vanicream at night and sunscreen with a colored tint during the day. What should I do about this patch, and is there any additional advice for post-procedure care?

I'm a 24-year-old female with no known health conditions, but I have severe health anxiety and am late for my period. I'm not pregnant, as I've taken a test. I'm concerned that my vaping might be related to cardiovascular disease, which is why I'm late. What could be causing my late period, and should I be worried about cardiovascular disease?

I’m experiencing severe twitching and difficulty falling asleep, which started after returning to heavy lifting in the gym. I’ve taken Benadryl and Flexiril, but the twitching persists, affecting my mental well-being. I’m taking magnesium, calcium, and electrolyte supplements. Is this a magnesium deficiency, and when should I seek medical attention?

I have a bad infection on my lower abdomen with a staph aureus boil that I lanced and drained on Monday. The infection has spread to a diameter of 2.5 to 3 inches, is red, very painful, and edema is developing above the infection. The pain is constant, ache-like with occasional sharp sensations, and there is no fever. I also had an appendectomy in 2011. Should I go to the ER immediately or can I wait until tomorrow morning if I don't develop a fever?
