I have an open sore on my ankle near the outside protruding bone (or muscle) and some edema extending up my leg. I've been on antibiotics and other medications like methylprednisolone, ciprofloxacin, furosemide, and potassium for 3-4 weeks. The infection seems to be gone, and most of the swelling has reduced, but there's still pain and no sign of healing. What could be causing this and what should I do next?

I have pain between T12-T13, which is painful to the touch and requires frequent back stretches to maintain mobility. The pain subsides temporarily with a 'pop' during stretches. Palpating the area reveals a small abnormality that seems to be the source of the pain. I am a martial artist with 20+ years of experience and high flexibility throughout my body. The pain to the touch was first noticed 6 months ago. What could be the cause of this pain?
