I have ankylosing spondylitis with a history of high blood pressure, sinus tachycardia, and mitral valve prolapse with regurgitation. I've been experiencing severe pain in my back, hips, pelvis, numbness and burning in my thigh, swelling in my feet, ankles, legs, abdomen, face, and hands, and painful knots on my wrists identified as ganglion cysts. My blood work shows abnormal levels, including high white blood cell count, high platelets, high neutrophils, low lymphocytes, high sedimentation rate, high glucose, and low AST. I'm concerned that the new swelling may be heart-related. What is your opinion on my suspicion?

I experience dark, tar-like, and very smelly stools from time to time, along with pain in the left side of my abdomen, both up and low, also from time to time. What could be the possible causes?

I just had a bout of diverticulitis 2 weeks ago. I'm still weak and nauseous. Is this normal? I had a CAT scan, no fever. Also, I had knee replacement a month ago but it's healing fine. I lost 17 pounds during this period and can't shake weakness and nausea. I'm off antibiotics but need 1 oxycodone at night for knee pain.

I had a TIA and was admitted to the hospital for 2 days. I have since returned home. How long do I have to remain in bed after returning from the hospital, and is it okay to sit and sew while keeping my feet elevated?

I had severe stomach flu for three days last week. Although the vomiting stopped on Friday, I am still experiencing nausea and terrible headaches. Is this common, or should I seek medical attention?

My lower right abdomen has been in slight pain when touched for the last 2 days. No nausea, no change in appetite, slight constipation which is unusual. Other than a head cold I am currently dealing with, I have had no significant fever. It only hurts when I touch that one area, the middle and left sides are fine. Is there a possibility I could still have appendicitis?
