I have been bulimic on and off for 6 and a half years. Two weeks ago I stopped cold turkey. I've had anxiety attacks leading to ER visits three times, with symptoms like pins and needles sensations and feeling like fainting. Each time, blood tests and EKGs were normal, as was a chest x-ray. I have a recurring dull ache in the left side of my chest that transfers to my arm and back. I'm going to a cardiologist for further evaluation. My near constant anxiety over this has me frightened. Are my EKGs and chest x-ray enough to exclude me from immediate danger? For bulimic patients, is an EKG typically enough to ensure no arrhythmia, or are there usually further tests beyond blood samples? Do you have any tips to reduce anxiety until my cardiologist appointment?

I tested positive for Chlamydia and wanted to know if I could buy an over-the-counter medicine for treatment. I took an at-home test and have not been prescribed any medicine. I have not seen a doctor about this yet, and there is nothing else in my medical history that the doctor should know.

I have a pulling sensation in a vein in my thigh that comes and goes but has been more persistent. I have to move my leg or press on it to get it to stop. The vein is always somewhat swollen and bulging. What could this be and should I be concerned?

I’m having horrible cramps during my period, worse than before, and I’m feeling nauseous. I took Advil and used a hot towel, but neither helped. I did a pregnancy test and I’m not pregnant. I have had issues with my period in the past and couldn’t sleep last night. What should I do?
